As has been discussed in the Pacific Northwest forum, the road use permits for the Wild West Rally have been withdrawn. Snow followed by rain have created concerns about run-off when sending rally cars through at speed.
The rally is reverting to "Plan B". Saturday's stages will all be at the Straddleline ORV Park near McCleary. Sunday's stages will all be at the Pacific Raceways near Auburn.
For competitors: The parc exposes start at the same place and same time as indicated in the supps. You will be given new instructions on how to proceed from there. Also, competitors who run Wild West will get a $300 credit towards the Olympus Rally in May.
For workers: On Saturday, please meet at the ORV park at 7:30am. On Sunday, please meet at the ticket booth at Pacific Raceway at 9:00am.
For spectators: On Saturday, everything is at the ORV park. The entry is $10/person or $5/person with two unwrapped toys for Toys For Tots. On Sunday, there is no spectating opportunities; come out and work if you want to see the action.
Thanks for everyone's understanding.
