Organizers have faced a lot of unexpected challenges this year and have shown remarkable adaptability to all the strange things that have happened.

You are to be commended for coming up with a solution that will work with a minimum impact to the competitors' schedules while showing the flexibility needed to allow the rally to run at all, considering the dangers of the season, the needs of the land owners and the desires of the participants.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful event.

Maybe I'm a little confused:

According to the schedule the last stage starts at 6:35 pm.
I've been away from Washington for a while, but I don't
think it is anywhere near dark at 6:35 pm . . .

What three night stages ?

Saturday, stage 5 is scheduled for 8:03 start time for first car. It will be dark by the time I run the stage. Even worse if 2 minute intervals.

Yes, it's very dry and dusty, the worst I've ever seen. Dust seemed to hang forever on the practice stage today, at least a minute and a half.
I think 2 minute intervals on Saturday is assured at this point.
The forecast for Sunday still shows a chance of showers :7 , so there may be a chance to go to 1 minute intervals then (but I'm not holding my breath)

See you here,
Rick

I was on the practice stage today, and I was holding my breath... still sucked in several ounces of Simpson dust. Don't worry Rick, I drank a LOT of liquid to keep hydrated, so I put most of it back as irrigation.
