Hey, I noticed that too!!!

I supposed because he he's already wrpped up his championship he's decided not to incur the costs of running another rally this year... Of course, that's less seat time for him too..

Maybe it was a codriver issue.

I Dunno. He told me he really wanted the championship wrapped up so we could have a straight-up VW showdown at LSPR. I was looking forward to it!

>Wut? No Hamilton TDI Golf Production entry on the LSPR list?

Jon and I are down here in the Bahamas drinking Pina Coladas and filming the next episode of Rally Racer. Call us when the snow melts! SubieGal is welcome to come down too if she wears that 1/2 tee.

Jon will be at the event. Just not with the car.
The crew is on vacation in the Dominican Republic and
the bahamas.

He's a little short on $ after a rather nice looking Amish
built addition to his home and a season of rally.
Up to his eyeballs in debt. And he is quite tall. :)

I finally reached Jon today and much like Ed shared he just couldn't justify the expense to do LSPR since the championship is already won. If he or his crew are anywhere near as tuckered as I was when I got done with my 2001 season then I can understand why they'd take a pass competing on the UP this year.

He tells me that the car will be there for PR purposes, and the crew will be there to help him collect the hardware Sunday morning. The TDI being up there is good for the StudBug crew since we proved in Minnesota that a lot of New Beetle parts fit on it!

You mean we won't be able to get you to try and sit in the drivers' seat of Lesley's Focus? The fit would probably be similar ;-).

Are you people nuts??!?!?!?

The last time a "visitor" sat in Brenda's seat was when she and Mark ran the Omni at Wild West... They promptly rolled a mile or so past Pee corner...
