I was just noticing that in order to see and get Petter Solberg's autograph at Rim, you have to first register, and within the registration, you have to provide your VIN # of your Subaru or bring your ignition key to the event! This is outrageous! I was planning on going to Rim if for no other reason, but now, why should I? What kind of elitist outfit is Subaru trying to establish here??? The Rim organizers??? What's this all about? Do they feel they have to shield Petter from the mobs of uneducated-in-the-world-of-rally Americans who might ask dumb questions and embarass the organizers??? Just thinking out loud here. Some feedback would be good...maybe...flame on.

It is not the organizers doing, nor do I believe is it SOA West Coast's doing. From what I understand this whole media blitz with Peter is a Euro Subaru thing. might I suggest a few close Subaru dealerships, which wil have what you are looking for.... :)

What part of "Subaru Owners Event" didn't make sense...

I think it is damn cool that Subaru is doing this. (Attention Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Ford. Subaru is leading the way again on marketing return for Motorsports investments.)

Besides, they can't keep us out of the woods, how are you doing to have security around a single person that has to us the bathroom sooner or later! Laugh!!!
