Should probably reach out Collin at TT who is building me a 2L motor to compete with Christiansen who had to go off an build a new motor. Last hiccup was sourcing a clutch. He recommended a 4 plate solid hub clutch but perhaps I'm old school but think sprung and full disc is better for rally for the shock and heat.

The car is partially torn apart, currently trying to redo the front struts as I killed my old top mounts at Olympus.
I'm going with some Bilstein HDs with some escort top hats. Hopefully should last me a good while, especially with that life time warranty. 🤣

I drove my car to work. Trivial, perhaps, but considering it hasn't moved under it's own power since 2014-I'll call it a start.

Boneyard 2.3 was installed a couple days ago, and other than a trip to the gas station, the drive from Simi Valley to Universal Hollywood was the maiden voyage for the "new to me" engine. Seems to run ok.

In 10 days I'll be dragging a honeywagon to North East Oklahoma for 6 months(Big Feature film).

Should make decent $$

Plan for this weekend is to start getting the fire system installed in preparation for Rally Colorado. Also troubleshooting the air conditioning in the tow vehicle. It will be a hot tow through Vegas without AC. Glad I discovered that it wasn't working now.

Well, the good news is I got the AC working in the truck! But unfortunately that took longer than I expected, so I did not make much progress on the fire system install. It looks like I'll have to make a few small brackets to mount the nozzles. Luckily I fabbed up a little press brake a few years ago so that should make things simple.

Drove both of them (for SALE!!!) to Cars and Coffee last weekend! Then drove them home to let all the little neighborhood kiddos sit in em and play with switches. 😁. They normally only get out for events and stay hidden at the shop. They were sooooo happy!!!

Attempted to change the rear motor mount on my Fiesta ST.

But one of the bolts on the existing won’t budge and I rounded off the corners so now it’s really not coming off. Had to buy a bolt extractor set. Unmotivated to try again anytime soon. Maybe after next 2 rallycross events. Below is pick of skid plate after my first 2 rallycross events.
