Webcast of the 2005 International Rally New York
is available 24 hours a day at

http://www.greengrass.tv/index.aspx?cgID=-1&vID=290&dbp=

Webcasts of Cherokee Trails International Rally and
Subaru Rim of the World Rally
are available 24 hours a day at

www.Revs.TV

Greengrass is an offshoot of Revs.TV with a better picture quality.
On either service, the cost is between 30 and 85 cents for a half an hour
viewing.

RE: Webcasts available

Excellent, Ivan!

That is the answer to the earlier questions of how do I get on TV?

With the web, you don't need to buy digital cable, stay up late, contract with thieves or miss a viewing.

Given a bit of time and content, anyone at anytime will be able to see whatever floats their boat.

See, and everyone thought the "porno web model" wasn't viable for "good" uses!

RE: Webcasts available

With the numerous posts about how to get rally more exposure on TV and to the public, I thought this thread would have more traction.

I see this as pretty exciting, that anyone who wants to see a full rally report can do so whenever they want, without paying for a channel they might never watch otherwise, ie: OLN (me) or in some cases (Anders) SPEED.

I know from my hits page, there are a bunch rally junkies out there that search for "rally videos" and "rally race" and as broadband gets more widespread, it will continue to grow.

Looks like banner ads to make people aware of the sport may be the cheapest way to do it and way more sucessful than broadcasting rally on a premium TV outlet at wierd times.

I was looking at this thing in the store yesterday and started to wonder about the capabilities...

Yeah. I love this site. I've watched a few of the videos. Now I need to get a video card so I can actually tape them to DVD. One more reason to get a home entretainment PC :)

The full coverage is good.

Funny how Lawless thinks there is a left turn eventhough the navigator i'm sure never said that and the yellow tape was there.... probably because the left corner was there in the previous stage that share the same first section of the road :) Memory plaid a trick on him :).. I do remember double checking with Craig if it was 300 and not a left :)

... the overall results are confussing.. the score showned on TV was different from rallyscoring results listed for USRC ....

Cheers!

That was the Greenlight TV scoring. Haven't you heard of Greenlight
TV scoring? It is different......
