Selling my long term project. I would love to finish it and run it but am too busy with shop work at the moment and unfortunately need room, so its time to sell. I have been building this car to the spec of the VWMS MK3 Kit-cars that ran in the BRC years ago, but with some slight updates. I also have a group A spec 16v engine and o2a 4.25 FD trans with Kaaz plated diff. So here are the specs on the shell:
The shell is a 1996 VW Gti
Custom Cages FiA certified CDS roll cage
Fully stripped of all seam sealers and sound deadening
Fully seam welded and reinforced
Front shock towers reinforced into rails and subframe mounts
VWMS style rail mounted engine mounts
Engine bay all sealed off and seam welded
Trunk floor cut out and replaced with flat section
Rear wheel wells tubed out
Fuel cell mounted into floor in back seat
3 cylinder pedal box
3" wide fiber glass fender flairs done all around
Euro spec front and rear bumpers
Gutted hood and hatch
Cup fiberglass mirrors
Custom light fiber glass dashboard and aluminum switch panel
Tube seat brackets
SVX setup electric hydraulic power steering pump
etc...

Engine ( Not complete but can be completed if buyer wants):
16v 9A 2.0L block opened for 12.5:1 comp JE Pistons also was hot tanked
Cut and balanced crankshaft
Arp head studs
1.8L 16v head with bigger ports ported
Schrick group A big rally cams 288* with adjustable Schrick timing sprockets, Mech lifters, and springs

Trans:
o2a with 4.25 FD and Kaaz plated differential
1 rally old Oem axles

Extras:
Wilwood 4 piston g60 setup front brakes
SACHS group A gravel shocks
Custom copy VWMS shifter
Custom handbrake
16v Pierce Weber carb manifold
Eurosport 4-2-1 header
15" Ronal Wheels with Michelins

Doors

non sunroof roof skin
2x rear beams
front crossmember
control arms
US spec bumpers
Etc..
