Has anyone used an amber/yellow/orange tinted helmet shield/visor at a snow event? Does it help at all (i.e. ski goggles)?

TIA,
Matt

Well yeah. Amber sunglasses and have been w/ teams who tinted all windows w/ amber and you could see the difference (better definition of the bumps and road surfaces). There is a reason ski googles come in amber.

Matt ,I have had amber glasses for yrs. Cuts down on shadows at dust and can see much better. If you would like I will let you use my Ray bans they are shooting glasses by design but work great. Chris Putzier

Thanks for the offer Chris :), but they probably wouldn't fit over the (regular) glasses I wear when I drive. Since I have a full-face helmet (with a visor/shield) I ordered some amber tear-offs to use.
