FYI, Here is the temporary web site for the June 11, 2005 NASA Baldwin Michigan event. We felt as close as the event is everyone should be aware we have a handle om most things ,except the web site.
Most of the required information is on there and will be up-dated every 2 or 3 days.

RE: Cancelled?

Yea, that's what Scooter told me. I guess the forestry people would only allow one permit for this year and Cadillac already had it. Cadillac is on my anniversary, think my wife will let me go? I have actually asked her to be my co-driver! Reminds me of that bumper sticker - "A bad day golfing is still better than my best day at work", or something like that.

RE: careful about your rumors

Gotta ask, Jimmy.

If I read between the lines, do I understand correctly that the Forest Service will only issue one permit per annum for a rally in your area and that Scooter Productions applied for a road permit in the same area that Cadillac has traditionally run?

Is that really so?

Well, Cadillac only ran once, so it would be a bit of a stretch to call it "traditional". It was there first (at least in the 21st Century).

just the facts, ma'm

Yes, you read correctly - only one event per annum and Scooter has it. And, as Uncle Joe said, we only ran in 2003 (once), so "traditionally" is a bit of a stretch.

the cancellation of the June event is unfortunate, but why wasn't it announced?

It concerns me that the event in September may befall the same fate.
