RE: Andrew is back!

PAINT THE CAR ORANGE!!!!

Welcome back Andrew -- what was it that was written on the hood of the rotary terror? Live like a rockstar, drive like a maniac? Remind us!

I think Andrew summed it up when he stopped on his way through service after a stage to inform me, "This car loves me and I love this car!"

Give 'em hell, Andrew!

Hey Shindle, Andrew is a friend.
Cause he's a generally nice and friendly guy.
The contrast is amazing.
I had high hopes for him after seeing him at Shitepoke and laughing about how easwy driving fancy cars was.
What the Phuck is your problem???

And to address your question where I was, I was in Seattle finishing the nice suspension for Coloradan Grant Hughes's Xratty ,
finishing
New Hampster boy Graham Cullens Xratty suspension,
sending notes to 323 rally boy Erik Emstad to confirm Fed Ex tracking number for his JVAB suspension,
writing note to the guy who bought Oregon rallyboy Mike Goodwins GTX rally suspension since his crashes at Shitepoke killed the car, writing to Calgary Toyota AE86 boy Kris Schofield about rear suspension to work with his JVAB front suspenders,
and yakking with 240 Volvo boy Kevin Hawkinson about th next step in his build project.
and writing future Volvo boy Glenwood Morris about the value of choosing a simple do-able plan and getting on with it and not to woory about "the perfect set up" before you trailer your starter shell home.

And shopping groceries and going for walks with the wife and baby.

Any other questions, Mr Personality?

Who's not Andrew's friend? (well besides Spitzner maybe)?

Difference is that when Andrew was missing from Maine entry list, I asked him why personally rather than digging up an old post on a public forum to post to that seemingly teases him for not being there.
Plans change, especially those not in his control. Look for orange @ Ojibwe.

Well when looking at the results, I didn't see his name, and couldn't recall 100% if he was supposed to be there or not,and I seemed to recall him saying he would be there, and recalled vaguely there was some "press release" and here it was, so I asked.

Nothing there that called for your unfortunatly typically snide response to a really simple question.

What happened which was out of his control?

(Not picking, Shindle, just wondering where my favorite under-dawg is)

Is Andrew still considered an underdog when he's driving state of the art machinery?
More like a favorite favorite.

Andrew recently all but won RALLYE DE SAGUENAY in Quebec driving the Rx7.

Its not like he's not doing anything.

As I understand, All " all but won RALLYE DE SAGUENAY" in spite of a lot of things.

Like a bent rear axle (A 1st gen RX 7 has a solid rear axle) that gave rise to 'interesting' steering effects.

I think also he a codriver that he had never even met before the rally..?

There are alot of rumours out there as to why we couldn't make it.

The truth is, Pat paid me not to run...

So, "congrats" I guess?
