Tarline is taking place in SoCal on Sat 26 Jul. It will consist of 6 stages totalling about 36 miles on the smoothest tarmac around. These roads have never been run before as a rally and will be run again in Nov prior to Treeline. Entry is only $175 due to the fact that we have an alternative independent insurance carrier. I have numerous sponsors who want to come aboard for this event and if successful, I will be asking for these roads on a regular basis for 2004 as well as another new road. I'm ultimately looking for a tarmac rally series to work together with Rim, Gorman and Treeline. I have already received an enquiry from a driver back east. If you want further information, feel free to give me a call.

I was looking for some pics of these roads online when I fount this interesting statistic:

Glendora Mtn Road: 200+ turns over 8 miles

Technical indeed.

I'm not sure exactly where they where measuring the 8 miles from, so your results may vary.

This is goign to be a kick in the pants!

Matt, Your facts may indeed be correct. The first stage is just under 8 miles. This does NOT include the other side of the mountain which we are not using, which is another 4 miles downhill. But, I would like to use this road as an uphill event. HOWEVER, this is not to say that this stretch of road will not be used as another event in the near future. Many options are open and we will use them to the MAX to ensure your enjoyment. The roads are there, LET'S USE THEM! Thank you all for your support.

Ole, let's get back up there now that the sun is shining and get even more photos! The road I want to use as another event, has just as spectacular views and the elevation is WAY less!

Thanks Rallystaff

Thats a great road! I road it on sportbikes as a kid. That road tought me good crashing skills;) I think one of my bikes is still at the bottom of one of the cliffs. That road has alot of cliffs??

Thanks for all your hard work. Was it that hard to get the roads to race on?? Who did you start with at the state. Theres some roads in Northern Arizona that would make good tarmac rallys. Were would I go to ask????????????
