And why do you think JB was there?

I got to see the cars at about the 3/4 point of A9 (Lower Old Hastings). From listening to them coming, it was obvious that the traction in the unplowed section (just before they got to me) was very questionable - lots of throttle feathering. As they passed, it was obvious that the first half-dozen or so cars were quite committed.
