The age limit for the Super 1600 and Junior Cup, is being dropped. This means that a greater battle in the smaller displacement classes will occur between younger and the more experienced drivers.
It will also have an effect on WRC and other events, as well as sponsorship and affordability.

I also spoke with the JWRC series organizer today and he laughed when I said I heard a rumour it was being changed...

Yes..
So far the Germans are the ones that dropped it. Other European countries are considering the same.
