>Huge article, very exciting not just for my team
>but for the entire sport of rally!!!!
>Am I excited about this??
>HELL YES I AM :7
Past SI rally articles have always come during that dead time between the Super Bowl and the Swimsuit Issue, when they need filler. To get something while the stick and ball sports are active is pretty special.
My buddy gets HotRod magazine and one day I just flippin' through it and I turned to the page about you. My buddy was like" dude, are you ok" cause I had that deer in the headlights look, and all I could murmur out was "I know this 'gal', and I can't believe there's a Subaru rally car in HotRod" Of all the magazines.
Can't get to the store fast enough to get SI.
Maybe there is hope for rallying in the US after all.
Thanks for doing a great job promoting this sport, and to your victory at Treeline. Brian was working so hard to impress you that I was pacing back and forth for 6 hours trying to figure out how to get the focus out of the woods. Yuk. But at least I got to taste your dust when you blasted by at the finish. Good show!

Seriously cool article! Well done, Jamie, and please congratulate Cynthia for her writing -- she really caught the essence of the sport. She even covered the little 2005 Oregon Trail incident with pizazz.
With this kind of awesome press, if you don't have some major sponsors by the end of the year I'm gonna tell Gary to whoop your butt!
the split is in regions ... SI and many significant magazines will run different content in different regions. In this case you are on opposite coasts ... They probably have a quota for 'regional' content.
Well done Jamie!
The story reads well and will definately be great exposure.
