Despite changes in Subaru of America, Inc. participation in the Pro Rally Championship for 2004, support for the Subaru Rim of the World Rally remains unchanged. Subaru Western Region and the Subaru dealers of Southern California have been important supporters of the sport for many years. Their support will continue despite changes in company's rally team efforts.

Although we are sad that our friends from Subaru Rally Team USA will not be with us this year, we are confident there will be numerous private teams to support the marque at Rim. In every challenge there is an opportunity. We?re going to loose a bit of the ?big team? flavor without the factory guys but the championship has been thrown wide open to dozens of deserving talented private contenders. We know this will mean even better competition and result in more interest from the public.

The Subaru Rim of the World Rally has long been one of the highlights of the Pro Rally Championship Series. In 2004, our new home at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds offers amenities usually found only at the World Championship events. The rally will include four side-by-side super special stages over a huge course in a 7,500 seat stadium and a 30,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall with a motorsports specialty equipment show. A single service location inside the fairgrounds will provide teams with specious lighted and paved service areas with 24 hour security. The Subaru Rim of the World Rally is presented by Autosport Engineering. For more information visit our web site at http://RimOfTheWorldRally.com.
