Yes, That was one of the announcements Subaru made at the AGM in Calgary. The train program will be on again this year.

Thanks to Subaru, L. Hansens Forwarding and Canadian Pacific Railway!

More info will come from CARS soon.

Subaru and CARS also announced that Subaru WILL continue their sponsorship for 2003 so the Television coverage will continue ... and possibly be expanded.

Check the CARS website because the Subaru contingency programs will continue - I believe you have a Justy in P1 - correct? Not a lot of competition in P1 ;-) It should help some.

since our budget for racing is very very limited...its good that we can hope on some money that will..make a diference if we do the next rally or not.. it the best way for us to get a maximum of experiance at low cost..

We're working on arranging storage for eastern rally teams in Merritt and Vancouver, so that teams can fly home and work between the two events. We're also working on a deal for teams who need to order parts (depending on what they break at Bighorn and Rocky) to have them shipped directly to the event - gotta love having the service area right in front of the auto parts store!

Tire mounting will be available on site at the event, so if you need to ship new tires out, or if you bring enough tires for all three events but not that many wheels, you'll be able to do that easily.

By the way, Ken and I had a whole day of meetings with the Merritt Chamber of Commerce and other local contacts yesterday, and the town is really pumped up for making this a truly top level national event. PFR is ready to welcome the national teams, and you will not be disappointed for making the journey.
