What do you think will happen to Subaru and Mitsubishi factory cars this season? I mean, when Hyundai pulled out a year ago, Libra Racing continued to rally their two Tiburons, even if it was on a smaller budged. Mitsubishi was run partly by Vermont Sports Car Club, and I am not sure whom Subarus were run by?

Basically I wonder what will happen to the actual cars themselves.

Mitsubishi was run by Vermont SportsCar, I beleive the cars went back to MEM in the UK. MEM and Vermont SportsCar Mantained the cars throughout the year.

The Subaru Team was run by Prodrive, and those cars probably went back to the UK to Prodrives facility as well.

The reason the Hyundai cars stayed around was because JB bought the cars from Hyundai after they withdrew.

Bret:

I do not believe that he bought the cars. John told me that Hyundai allowed him to retain the cars for a specified time period.

The Mitsubishi cars went back to MEM & Coordsport in the UK. They are currently for sale at around $100,000 each.

If you're interested in buying one, get in touch and I'll forward your inquiry.
