How fast were you going when you entered the water? I was nervous of having the same result you had. Where is your air intake?

The water was a blessing as now its time to build that B20/B16 12:1 motor your car begs to have......

Hahaha, I pick up the B20 next week.

I was about in the middle of second gear... 30,35,40mph? or so.

My intake was just a cone filter stuffed on my throttle body, as high in the engine bay as you can get. When I pulled the intake manifold off it was FULL of PA river water.

The water blew my shift boot apart, and soaked us both!

I didnt think I was going too fast.

Lesson #1: Water sucks when it goes in places it doesnt belong...
BTW, Maybe water sucks, but it certainly does't compress!
Been there, done that, got the T shirt. With a brand new short block (might have had a couple of events on it).
