2:00PM...So it is luch time in Maine, eh? Is Stig having Pat for lunch?

Yesterday (might as well be a century ago) from here: http://www.rally-america.com/

"With four stages remaining, Richard started Saturday with more than a minute lead on his Group N rival Stig Blomqvist. Even so, Richard wasn't planning to cruise through the rest of the race.

"I doubt Pat will back off too much," Richard's sister-co-driver Nathalie said early Saturday. "You can't take it easy when you've got Stig chasing you.""

"Car 1, Richard / Richard are holding on to their Group N and Overall lead by 27.5 seconds despite a broken drive shaft that cost them 30 seconds on Special Stage 6. "

Yeah, so? What else will Stig force Pat to break in the remaining stages?

Age and treachery will often beat youth and exuberance. I'll be happy for Pat if Pat wins. I'll be jumping up an down if Stig wins. It should be interesting.

GO STIG!

final results, barring anything else

GN 1 Pat Richard/Nathalie Richard 2004 Subaru WRX STI 1:15:22.7
GN 2 Stig Blomqvist/Ana Goni 2003 Subaru Impreza 1:16:05.4 +42.7

looks like pat regained some of his lead.

good job pat!
