Rally New York had two medical incidents, neither involving life-threatening injuries. Driver Gerry Brinkman suffered a broken pelvis from an incident on Special Stage 2. Driver James Fox suffered a broken ankle from an incident on Special Stage 8. In an abundance of caution, both were airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Brinkman?s co-driver, Mike Henninger, was uninjured. Fox?s co-driver, Charles Paulsen, was transported to a local hospital for observation and released.

Due to privacy laws, NASA Rally Sport is not at liberty to release further information regarding the medical condition of either individual without their consent.

We wish both a speedy recovery.
