Yeah, it is. There're a couple of wider sections, but there's also a stretch where Bill Holmes's truck doesn't quite fit and his tire tracks were on the berms on both sides. Is the road really that narrow?
Good progress so far. Much better with the power transmission towers and shrubs.
Eddie, if you need better video than you can get from Vimeo, just let me know. Boy do I wish the roads were really that smooth.Waterbars are a bit beyond the resolution of the data we have. But, don't worry the bumps will be there. For high fidelity, imo in-car footage is the way to go. Luckily there is no shortage of it, e.g. Welker and Sombrano have some great HD Gorman footage for me to play with.
Given the tools available, any US rally is probably doable. Depending on the fidelity it could be quick (like that Gorman vid which took 2 hours) or not.
After taking time off to finish the *real* rally car I've made more update. I'll post a link to the beta version since I need some testers (I have a pretty high end machine so I don't want to make an unplayable stage with too many objects).Ok here is an update. I got the multitrack working so both sections of N. Boundary are included (that makes 4 stages total including forward and rev). I also added satellite imagery for the terrain. I'm about 40% through elevation adjustments. Then I need to do the objects (I already started that too).
Looks great, I would love to test. My machine is pretty middle of the road Core2 Duo + GT9800.After taking time off to finish the *real* rally car I've made more update.
