Hi everyone!

IF you are planning to spectate at Sno Drift this year, please consider marshaling. The S*D organizers still could use bodies.

With that said, if you are not interested in marshaling, and going to spectate, PLEASE try to spectate the following two spots for sure, as we will have a Rally TV camera at each, focused on the spectators, with the cars sliding thru the frame of the shot. We could use lots of enthusiastic fans, screaming/yelling/waving flags, banners, signs, ringing cowbells, and generally showing the support we have all seen in the past.

Friday, stage 3, The Ranch, spectator area 2.
Saturday, stage 15, Hungry 5, spectator area 5.

We will also have a camera or two at or very near the following spectator areas, and will undoubtadly show some of the crowd before the cars show up & within the camera shots of the cars passing:

Friday, Shoreline, Stage 2, spectator area 1
Saturday, Meaford, stage 12, spectator area 3

The Meaford spot is excellent as it is used three times (and from both directions). I also highly recommend Greasy Creek. This is where all the cars missed the right side road after L at T (except Lurch, who has missed it often enough in the past).

But the Meaford-DeCheau is only a spectator area the first two times...

Silly I know, but that is the way the med-crews and staffing falls out. Hoping to fix it on the fly, but the Hungry 5 spectator area just a few miles away is the better spot and will be fully staffed during the late afternoon time period.

See ya in the Sno,
Mike
