Can anyone recommend an inexpensive shipping company on the east coast? I've got a car in the Boston area that needs to be in Philly, and I don't have time to trailer it down there.

Any and all good recommendations appreciated! If you've had a bad experience with some company, that's helpful too. Please post here, or e-mail to [email protected]

Thanks,

Hi there, I just sent you an email. I'm in Ohio but have time to come and get it. I'll give you a good rate. Is it a rally car? Thanks?

Hi Isaac, I've tried to email you but it keeps getting kicked back..here's what my note said..thanks!

Hi Isaac, I'm a fellow rallyist who happens to be off from his normal job
for medical treatments. I have a 16" open trailer and a tow vehicle. I
would be glad to
take you car down to Philly if you are interested. I'll charge you $1.25 a
mile loaded. That's .50 to .75 less than most professional haulers. I'll
treat your machine like my own. I'm flexible on dates also. If your
interested, please send me a note with some more info. You can always call
me on the cell, 614-284-2365.

Hi folks. The car is on Cape Ann, north of Boston (01930). It's not a rally car. It's a Quantum Syncro Wagon project car recently sold to a guy in the Philly area. He's bought the car (cheap) and we're working out how to get it to him without spending more on delivery than he did on the car.

I may be able to borrow a tow vehicle and trailer from some folks (you know who you are gentlemen!) and do the delivery myself, but it looks like my work schedule is about to get really hectic so I'm investigating a third party delivery option. Minimizing the cost is essential here -- this is not a $75k rally car. It's not even a $750 rally car, so if you're interested in bidding on the delivery, thanks! But bear in mind this ain't no cush gig. We don't need insurance. We don't need fancy this, or frou-frou that... we just need a good guy with a reliable truck and a firm handshake who wants to run down to the Philly area from Boston for a couple of hundred bucks. Drop me a line if that's you!

For those of you having trouble with my e-mail, it's [email protected](dot)com -- I'm getting a lot of spam e-mails to other addresses I've put online, so to avoid feeding the automated address harvesters I'm not typing out my e-mail here. Just substitute a period for the "(dot)" and hey presto!

Best,
