Sherbrooke Ice Challenge

WHERE : Sherbrooke ? Quebec Province
ORGANISORS : Grand Prix automobile sur glace du Canada

DATE : February 25th, 26th and 27th
2005 ÉDITION : 7th edition

CIRCUIT : Road circuit includes 2 long curves and one long straight away covered with ice witch meets FIA standard.

LENGHT : 1,5 km

TOP SPEEDS : 160 kms/h

2005 CATEGORIES :
- Type T3F, WRC look alike
- Bike
- Rally

Drivers who have been a part of the past edition : Alain Prost ,Tambay, Laffite, Arnous, Carpentier,
Camirand, Godin, Schraenen, Legris ,Vincent, Besner, etc.

INVITATION 2005

The race will be held as a Rally type competition where the race will be against the clock and not between competitors posisitons. A pack of 10 to 15 cars will be competing on the track starting with 5 seconds interval. This type of race has been chosen to prevent excessive contact between competitors during the race.

The tire format will be DOT approved with 112 studs 15? street tires. There is a limit of 10 tires for the weekend. These tires have been chosen to prevent the cost from going too high for this first participation of the Rally class. All security aspects and technical rules will be under CARS. Everything is in place for an awesome weekend of racing at a really affordable cost !

REGISTRATION : January 14th 2005 at the latest COST : 300 $

TIRES : 100 $ à 125 $ EACH

Hi,
I saw a set of Quebec ice racing rules in English that had stud types and lengths quantified.
Is there a similar rule for this event?
One wouldn't want to arrive with a butter knife at a cruise-missle test.
