ok - I'm confused... It was my understanding that to get your pro rally license, you needed to be at least seed 6. Also, it was my understanding the Maine was strictly a pro event. Ok, if both are true, how are there three cars in the starting order seed 7 & 8? Pls explain, as I would have given my left leg to run in Maine, but alas am a lowly seed 7 club driver. Everyone who had a ProRally license before the new seeding rules came into effect was "grandfathered" into ProRally despite his/her seed. Thus in 2002, you might see seeds 6 and lower in ProRally. They have this one season IIRC to produce results that will maintain the Pro status.
