In the January issue, Steve Johnson wrote an editorial about how widespread and professional SCCA's presence at SEMA was. The picture he used to illustrate SCCA's exciting product was... a rally car!

Now the February issue arrives, and the most exciting thing they can find to put on the cover is... a rally car!

Need an exciting young competitor for the First Gear page? Get a... rallyist!

How about something exciting for the historical Roots page? Find a photo of... and old rally car!

Maybe someday SCCA will come up with an exciting racing program of their own. Until then we have... rallying!

speaking of which, when does Specialstage roll out the CircuitRally forum?

Or did I miss it?

RE: SCCA & SportsCar

Every mention I made were of REAL rally cars running REAL rallies. I believe I know the difference.

P.S There is no such thing as a 'circuit rally'.

Receiving the new issue made me want to use it as kindling for my fireplace, but then I figured it wouldn't even be good enough for that.

SportsCar has always been more smoke than heat. It is conveniently sized to fit the bottom of a birdcage, though.
