SUNDAY, SUNday, Sunday!!! An SCCA RallyCross event in Tulsa this weekend that will hopefully resurrect these competitions for NEOkla Region after a decade long hiatus. Details are here - http://neoklascca.org/ - here - http://greencountrymotorsports.com/index.php/topic,3411.0.html - and finally, registration is here - http://www.motorsportreg.com/index..../uidEvent/F842D38D-D29D-EC07-B347DBD0E6504F8F

There are only 25 entries at this point so come on down and tear up some dirt at Tulsa Raceway Park!!! I'll be there in a Mod RX7 on Pirelli rally tires so there will be at least a little MaxAttack style driving going on ...

Much fun was had by all...

I don't have the results (BTW where are they?) so my #'s will be guesstimates.

Really good turnout. 46ish drivers, bunch of two driver cars. Oskar was the only "rallycar" there though Mad Mike beat a rally tire wearing RX7 to death. switched to a street tire TurboII. Lots of subarus... Folks seemed to let fly, some of the lowered car offered front bumper parts to the rallycross gods. 0.8 mile course held up fairly well, moved in a bit for the last two runs.

8 cars in M2. Oskar came in.... 1st!!! Beat Mike by less than a second. Thought he should have gotten style points for the donuts he did for the photogs in the TurboII.

Sounds like a fun event!

I've been impressed with the efforts of OMR and NeOkla to get these rallycrosses together. Hopefully we can get a site back in Wichita and have a fun regional series.

It's been a frustrating year for me and rallycross, but I just recently drug home the most rust free 240SX in the Midwest, and I'll be back slinging dirt in no time.

When they finally appear they will either be on the Green Country Motorsports forum - http://greencountrymotorsports.com/ - or http://neoklascca.org.

Yeah, I think I hit one pylon each on half of the six runs and did two donuts adjusting from a 13B RX7 with Pirelli rally tires (which showed no real difference in grip tween the grasslands and the gravel) to a Turbo boosted 2G RX7 on street rubber (which really required finesse to keep the tail under it on that gravel). All things considered it was more fun than I expected to have and makes me want to scare up a 1G RX7 and gun for overall honors ...

Very cool event, I wish I lived in New Mexico, then I could justify the drive to TX, OK, CO for rallycross. Nice turnout. Do you guys plan to go to Nebraska for the Nats? It'll be a lot of fun to be back in Nebraska and visit with friends, do it, you won't regret it.

Also, I like how you made use of irrigation flags, helps to keep the course "equal" for all.
