Wouldn't call it a rally, but he drove his son's Evo - at least once -at the Rim Press Stages last year. I didn't spy him until he idled past me after a run and I was about to go tell Rhys how much he was looking like his old man!
I also think he ran a Hyundai at Pikes peak quite a while back. I'm pretty sure it was a Scoupe, but if my memory serves me right, ( did I just say that? I'm really getting old.) the car was converted to something really off the wall like it ran on CNG or something crazy like that.
I found the video and the car is a turbo scoupe. It was originally a TV commercial with Motley Crue's song "Kick Start My Heart" as the theme. I think it was from '91 or '92, but I am not sure.

According to the rules, he will be no worse than a seed 1. No, I don't think he'll win in a car he's never raced before in his fist event in 10 years. I think he's also going to be surprised that he now has 6 to 10 people to compete with instead of just one.

If he finishes, and has a clean run, I think he will win. He's still really fast.
