Just wondering if there are any reports of the road conditions for the Rocky Mountain Rally?
Dry / Wet / Snow / etc?

Just trying to pack the truck.

Thanks

Two years ago, it was 35c in the week leading up to the event. Then, 2 days before the event, they got 3 feet of snow, which turned to chocolate pudding slimy mud on the day of the event.

Any questions? :9

It wan't really 3 feet of snow - I was there that year. But I know what you mean.

My question is - is there any updates on the road conditions - last year there were photos of the roads posted. Just wondering.

Rocky Updates?

Does anyone know if there is going to be information updates this weekend and if so, how can we find them.

Actually, it was. Didn't you see the pictures of Shawn and Ross Wood digging out the Ford Explorer from snow as tall as the hood, in the middle of the road? Shawn, you still got those photos? Post one up here if you can......

I don't beleive that there will be significant updates online from the event. Logistics and locale make it really difficult to get updates done. Taht being said, check teh website and this forum for info, which is sure to flow from competitor computers Friday and Saturday night!

Doesn't look like any snow this year - although you never know.

Roads are bare and dry and dusty - lots of really loose gravel on Powderface.

Everyone drive safe!

We are hoping to have scoring and news updates during the event - just sorting out the technology and dialup connections.

I'll post a note here and on the website tomorrow night if it happens.

Cheers!
