Check out the October issue of Popular Science for an article from RIM. Very interesting comparison of cost for rally "on the cheap" and "cost no object".

Very interesting comments again by Kurt....think I'll now go put my BMX bike away & get my snowboard ready for the winter.

I just had a chance to read this article while waiting at the airport, and even after I finished it, I still bought the magazine.

I think this is the first general interest article that I've ever read that captures the excitement of rallying, and also gives a fairly detailed insight into the ups and downs of the sport.

Additionally, the photos, especially the first shot of the Wong's Mini are really good. All in all, if you've not seen it, I'd recommend it.

Odd, Popular Science magazine has had two articles about rally this year. There is an article about Tim O'Neils rally school in the February 2003 issue.

I still think the rally article in a recent Hot Rod Magazine is "scarier." Where will it end? ;-)

I've recently been in touch with John Powers, Editor for the old Rallye Magazine, and he is now lamenting publishing their work decades too early.

It's certainly an amazing time for rallying on this continent.

Wow, and quotes from Oregon's own Charles Buren, ClubRally competitor!

Yay Charles!
