I had just typed up a reply to the related thread on press credentials, then went to the Web Site for the Wild West Rally to request my own clearance to shoot for my magazine. Um, no "Press & Media" link anywhere. (of course I could be blind...)

So I have a request for all rally organizers, large or small. Please include a link called "Press Information" --even if it's just an email link. Tell me who to contact, or I'll just have to guess.

Ryan,

The new policy says you must contact the SCCA National Office to for actual press credentials. (Just get in touch with Jim Culp for the press kit and other information. :)

ps: It was good to meet you at the Dryad TSD. I was the silverback on the radar gun. Please consider the Dryad TSD a rallying anomaly in every sense of the word. As you know the ClubRally scheduled for that weekend was cancelled just weeks before the event because the National Office withdrew the insurance because.........

Case in point: Wild West isn't an SCCA event, so what good are SCCA credentials? And yes, I was going to bug Jim anyhow...but that's not the point ;)
