News Flash - Laughlin, Nevada, USA

"American Rally Sport Group is pleased to confirm OLN?s first one-hour broadcast of the Ramada Express International Rally 2001 on Sunday, October 13 at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time," announced Roger Allison, ARSG president. Outdoor Life Network reaches more than fifty-two million homes in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, and is also broadcast to all American Military bases. OLN, recognized for its quality presentations, received two Emmy awards for its Adventure Quest series.

"I feel OLN is a dynamic broadcast company with a positive outlook on rallying in the United States and across North America. ARSG is pleased to be part of their focus on outdoor Action Sports," commented Ray Hocker, production editor of the 2001 Ramada Express International Rally and ARSG vice-president. "Rallying is a unique motor sport and appeals to car enthusiasts with a great spirit of adventure. Rally competition is concentrated over wilderness roads or out-of-the-way pathways during all kinds of weather conditions, and I feel our events will fit well with OLN?s line up for 2002 and 2003."

American Rally Sport Group Rally USA, recognized for its enterprising approach to motor sports competition, created and developed three unique events: the FIA-listed Ramada Express International Rally, now in its fifth year, the Magellan presents JAOS Adventure Rally, a GPS-navigation event in its third year, and the dynamic American SuperStage® dual-course competition format. Event road courses take competitors through Nevada and into northwestern Arizona to the scenic Land of the Hualapai Indian along the western Grand Canyon. The events are headquartered at the Ramada Express Hotel-Casino in Laughlin, Nevada each December.

A more complete listing OLN?s schedule will be available on their website at www.olntv.com. OLN can also be contacted by email through "feedback" on their website.

Rally event information and entry are available www.RallyUSA.com.

IS this the OLN that is in the US or not? The OLN that is shown in Canada is NOT the OLN that's shown in the US. Not sure what/where the differences occur but I know that the programming is different. I think CARS rallies are shown on OLN in Canada.

I just want to see my car on TV in the US.

>That's smart..OLN doesn't have hours taken up by NASCAR crap
>and seems to struggle sometimes to fill up time slots. Could
>all SCCA rallies go on OLN? (and get lots of repeats) Would
>that be cheaper?

Noo.. Then we wouldn't get to see them in Canada, since we get OLN-Canada and it has its own programming schedule.
