Bloomington Subaru and the Ojibwe Forests ProRally are hosting the 4th annual RallyFest in the Twin Cities area on Wednesday, August 20th.

The event features a superspecial type competitive exhibition with manufacturer teams and top national talent totaling 15 cars. A rallycross exhibition to promote clubrally and rallycross for the Land O'Lakes Region, SCCA will preceed the ProRally demonstration.

This is an opportunity for all of us to promote rally in a major metropolitan area with an excess of 3 million people and
provide our sponsors with some significant market exposure before the Ojibwe Forests ProRally in northern Minnesota. Minneapolis is ranked the 14th largest market in the country by Nielsen.

We are planning extensive local media coverage, entertainment, equipment vendors, food and refreshments. This event will be heavily promoted and expected attendance should exceed 5,000 people.

Participation by all Ojibwe Forests entrants is both welcomed and desired.

Accommodations are available for only $45 for RallyFest night from the Days Inn at I-494 and Hwy 55, just 2 exits south of the Bass Lake Road exit we recommend you take to get to the park. The hotel parking lots are plenty big for the larger trucks and trailers. Please give them a call 763-559-2400 and reserve your room, reservation code is "RallyFest". The hotel parking lot adjoins a Perkins and there is a Grandma's less than a block away. (Mary Utecht's dad manages this hotel, so be sure to say 'Hi" and Thank you!)

Notice that ALL rally cars entered in the Pro and/or ClubRallies at Ojibwe Forests are invited. We've had everything from factory Subarus and Mitsubishis to a certain multi-colored pickup whose driver shall remain nameless...

And the factory cars don't always get the most attention...
