Hey all. I’m currently going back and forth between 205/55/16 maxsport gravel tires.

Or all terrain tires. 215/65 or 70/16s. These are the options https://www.discounttire.com/fitmen...ategory:allTerrainTires&sort=price-asc&page=0

My reasoning is I feel like the rally tire will have more grip but will lower the car down too much.

This will be going on an 05 mustang gt being used for Rallycross then prepped for stage rally. It’s already stripped out, caged, ect. Making about 330hp. Welded rear diff. Bilstein struts w/gt500 springs for a slight lift.

Specifically- which events are you running?

Not sure why you think rally tires will lower the car too much.

Yes all terrains are the budget choice.

Some have done well on them, but from what I’ve seen people that switch to rally tires generally do better.

Why would you want to put in an all-terrain tire if you're going to use that car on a racetrack? What type and model of tire have you come to get? I have a Toyo all-terrain tire on my Silvy and Blizzak on my GTO because it's winter.
