Big thanks to everyone who made last weekend's International Rally New York a reality, including the competitors for entering, the hams for talking, the EMTs for not having to do anything (I hope!), the workers for working, the local communities for their support, Bernie for the particularly difficult task of CRO, and the organizers for all the organizational things that were done.

Also, BIG THANKS to the USRC organization for creating a do-able national championship for the "everyman" competitor.

The roads were brilliant, especially Saturday's stages.

We would have liked the Super Special to be longer, but hopefully we gave the fans a thrill, especially on the last run! (You may have to right-click/Save As to view the video link.)

There were certainly areas for improvement at either end of the event, but the actual rally stuff worked out great.

On a personal level, I want to thank Brian for a great, well-focused drive at this event and a fabulous season beginning in Idaho. Our crew chief, Doug Chernis at Race Technik kept the car nearly flawless all season, with help from the guys like Wayne, Shaun, J.T., and Gary.

The event photographers deserve special applause too because they do so much to help promote the sport, as well as giving us a bit of memorabilia for our nursing home years.

Thanks again, everyone!
