Montreal (Quebec), December 23, 2003.- Rallye Sport Québec (RSQ), the
governing body of the Quebec Rally Cup, had some good news to announce
during there annual meeting : 6 rallies in 2004 and 10 000$ in prize
money, a collaboration of Motul and DMS North America.

The 2-wheel drive Motul Quebec Rally Cup presented by DMS North
America, the 2004 official term, will be marking its debut in Maniwaki
(Haute-Gatineau) on February 6-7 with the Perce-Neige Rally. Two other
regional only status will be following : Sanair (April 24-25) and the
newest Saguenay Rally (June 18-19). The 4th event will be presented
with Baie-des-Chaleurs Rally (July 2-3), just before the Rallye des
Draveurs (August 14-15) and the Défi Ste-Agathe/Duhamel, on September
10-11. The Perce-Neige Rally, Baie-des-Chaleurs and Défi are also
included in the Canadian Rally Championship and the North-American
Rally Cup.

The involvment of major sponsors is noticable this year for the Quebec
Cup: DMS North America will be offering a suspension system worth
around 4,000$ (or a 3,500$ prize money) to the winner of the 2-wheel
drive Quebec rally cup as long as interresting rebates to members of
Rallye Sport Québec. A total of 5,000$ in prize money will be offered
by Motul along with discounts on products allowing competitors to be
eligible to there prizes.

The 2004 winner will receive a total of 5,000$ (or 1,500$ plus a
4,000$ DMS suspension system); runner- up will receive 3,000$ and
3rd, 2,000$. Informations regarding eligibility to Motul prizes will
be available on RSQ website (www.rsq.qc.ca) shortly.

Rallye Sport Québec is also announcing the nomination of Mr. Julien
Pilon, Production 4 class Canadian champion and overall runner-up of
the 2003 North-American cup, as vice-president. He is succeding to Mr.
Marc Racine whose RSQ greatly thanks for his commitment and
dedication. Julien Pilon, elected for two years, will be joining Éric
Tremblay, elected president earlier this year. Mr.Tremblay is a class
1996 Canadian champion and 1998 overall runner-up North-American

The involvment of Julien Pilon as long as major sponsors collaboration
now reinforce RSQ's goals to manage, promote and develop rally
competitions in Quebec. Following RSQ's request, Service Presse
Pole-Position will be producing press releases in English and French
during 2004 season.

In my opnion you will make an ausome VP to Eric and Rally in Canada just got stronger!!!
