Helpful hint: The event shouldn't be too hard to figure out. It's still running today. The winner is another matter. The obvious choices would be Henderson, Harvey, Buffum, Walker, Rodgers or Blok. Those would all be wrong; however, it's not someone totally obscure, although I think this was the only Pro Rally he ever won.

Second helpful hint: Once you know the winner, you'll know what he was driving.

We dnf'd with a blown head gasket in 20 below temperatures. Didn't retorque the head bolts after breaking in the engine.
