I am certainly looking forward to this weekend! The closest I've been to running rally roads in the Great Northwest was Foresthill Divide in Auburn, CA. back in the early 80s. I have visited that corner of the country as Crew Chief for Crawford's CMC Motorsports effort back in the mid-80s, so I have at least tantalizing glimpse of what's in store!

BTW - to this point I'm mighty impressed with the Tabor Rally Team's pre-event proceedings and am looking forward to our collaboration in Oregon -and- Missouri.

John will be in service...no Monster Volvo out this time around! :(

Let's hope the moon isn't out in service though..since I won't be around to stop him...or maybe he needs his infamous OK sign!! ;)

Yeah, we've been going through the car to make sure it's all "good to go"; funniest part was taking the three rally cars (and Mark's WRX street car) down to the oil change place - en masse!

Those guys love to see the cars come in, but we usually only send them in one at a time! :)

I hope J.L has plenty of time to moon you all, as that means he is not busy trying to keep my car going on its first ever event.

There are soooo many details in building a rally car, any of them can cause a DNF!

Well - thanks to UPS, things are going to be even weirder. Since the box full of Nomex, helmet, Peltors, driving shoes, driving gloves, a camera, my (or Akaba's) ProRally numbers/backers & some other stuff got to Portland at midnight but was immediately re-addressed and sent to MAINE, I'll be borrowing Mr. Lane's Nomex and Doug Robinson's Peltor hat for the Oregon round. Were I to borrow someone else's codriver it would be a clean sweep! OPC, OPN & OPH!
