I must say that in my defense, that John and Leon were just backing their car into a safe, wide-spot in the road at a slight corner (i.e. no triangles out yet) when we came around the bend and saw them. We knew from the bits of shredded tire, increasing dust, and gawd awful burning rubber smell that we would be upon them soon...

Sorry to have tossed the stone through the side window...
