Hey yall I am coming from Sacramento to spectate the rally and I need some help from the locals or someone. I think that 2 spectator stages on a day that lasts nearly 10 hours kinda sucks and I am looking to increase this number. Is the rally going to be run on the same stages as it was last year? If so can somone give me some maps of the area showing where the stages are? I am trying to get more info out of the organizers and they are being really patient with me so far but I dont think they are ready to give me any info :) So if you want some cool pictures and video of your car ripping through the forest hook me up with some maps so I can compare them to some topo maps online. HELP!

It's not that I don't WANT to send you a copy of the route... heck, I've got them all right here, hot off the printer. I don't think I have the authority to send them to you.

Did you try talking to Ben Bradley or Mike Nagle (clerk of the course)?

if you wanted to go in with one of the stage crews you could probably do that, however you might be stage locked... talk to Gloria Hale if you want to try that route.

everybody's email address is their
firstname.lastname @ oregonrally.com

If you want to come help do some course setup on Wednesday this week, you could probably get some really good scouting in for photo taking.

When will you be into Portland?

IF YOU DONT HAVE TOO MUCH GEAR, BRING A BIKE AND ARRIVE AT THE STAGE EARLY, MAYBE EVEN A MOTORCYCLE, YOU CAN COVER TWICE AS MUCH GROUND AND ON FOOT AND MIGHT EVEN HAVE SOME FUN. YOU SHOULD TRY AND GET THERE BEFORE THE MARSHALLS AS SOMETIMIES THEY DONT LIKE PEOPLE ON THE STAGES. OTHERWISE ITS FAIR GAME, GOOD LUCK
