The Oregon Trail ProRally will take place on the April 24/25 weekend in 2004, rather than on the weekend originally scheduled. This change is at the request of the principal landowner.

"I am very happy that our forest managers are letting us run in April again," said rally chairman Ben Bradley, who really hates writing about himself in the third person. "This makes for a much better schedule, having our event 'partner' with Rim of the World, making it a more sensible tow for midwest and eastern competitors."

The event will follow a similar schedule to previous years, with the bulk of the competition on Saturday and Sunday. The host hotel will once again be the Red Lion Hillsboro hotel, which can be reached at 503-648-3500.

Please feel free to e-mail [email protected] with any questions, and updates to http://www.oregontrailrally.com should begin early in the new year.

Happy Holidays to all!

You have elected to change the date ofthe Oregon Trail ProRally, due to the wishes of the primary landowner. As a result, you will receive acclaim and thanks from the rally community.

Later that day, while checking some potential roads in the Tillamook Forest, your Mazda stalls, and you get out to check the engine. While you are checking the plugs, you smell a sour pungent odor. You turn around and catch a long glimpse of a large, upright animal moving through the woods. It's Sasquatch!

If you follow Sasquatch, turn to pg. 51
If you hop in the Mazda, and key up the ham radio, turn to pg. 92

Ok, 3rd person sucks, but 2nd person is worse.
Poor Edward Packard and R.A. Montgomery!

PS: If you're planning on keeping one finger in this thread to flip back to this choice after you die, I'm on to you.
