Hi,

Hi everyone, my first post. Is there anyone here involved in rallying in New Jersey? Do you guys ever go out and just have fun with cars somewhere? How about when it snows, anyone hitting the roads then? Where do you practice? Thanks, just moved back to jersey, and looking to hook up with some rally enthusiasts, and racers.

Sincerely,
JOE:)

There are a bunch of us scattered around dirty jersey. There are a half dozen or so here in southern jersey and the rest of the gang are north of Trenton, such as the Polish mafia and the Quattrohaus boys up in Newark.

Eastern PA has a bunch of rally heads too, all around the Philly area (Reading, West Chester etc). There are even a few weirdos in Delaware, Brad where are ya? :+

Welcome back to the armpit!

All this, conspicuously missing from other posts here, is taking
place just a few miles north of you in Monticello, New York:

International Rally New York
Rally New York USA
Rally New York Rallysprints
Rally New York Rallycross Series

See www.RallyNewYork.com

We are planning a Rallycross in November and
a winter Rallysprint in January.

"NE" as in "NorthEast", as in under the "Regional" section of the this board you will find a "NEDiv" (NorthEast Division) section that discusses events and stuff in the northeast.

Cheers,

You have to be willing to leave NJ to go to events, I honestly can't think of anything in NJ besides PBX (that link is posted above).

/preach mode/ However, there is no such thing as "practice" on public roads. Go ahead and have a 'spirited' drive, but if you think you are practicing take it to private land or put the car back in the garage. Abusing public roads is bad for rally (and motorsport in general). /end preach mode/

For spectating check out Rally New York, STPR, and Maine Forest. To go rally cross check out the Rally NY rally-x series (Ivan, when's the next one?!), the Philly rally-x series (Nov event TBA), or the SCCA NER events, or the DC Region events. For auto-x events check out www.autox4u.com, it covers PA, NJ, DE, NY and CT. For Ice Racing check out www.icerace.com.
