No, I'm not psychic, (though I used to go out with a tele-psychic) but I wrote a similar question to the PRB on 2 November 2002, then posted it on SpecialStage. Here's the link:

While I didn't get a formal response, George and I talked about it. Since it didn't pertain to rally at the time, there was no reason for the PRB to consider it then.

Personally, there's no reason we have to adopt FIA scoring systems anyway, so whether we keep Group N points as they are, change to the new FIA plan, or change them to match the other SCCA classes probably doesn't matter much.

I got the answer I was expecting: "No", but with a slightly different reason. The PRB looked at this when FIA was still only considering it.

Now for my money, we don't HAVE to follow FIA or do JUST our own
thing, but we damn well ought to just fricking pick _one_ points system. Makes more sense that way.
