I read about this in a photo magazine, adidas has a new line of clothing called the Driving Collection based on their 70's Rally inspired clothing. they are currently doing an ad campaign using Rally as a theme. apparently they used photos of rally cars from the 70's and recently did a shoot of a Driver ( a model) in front of an Audi quattro Rally car to make it look like period Rallying. this was shot in New Jersey, anyone know who's car it is?

http://www.adidas.com/originals Click on the Blue jacket and it opens automatically(flash). You can scroll around the image. tehre is a Rally game and details about the WRC events. You can download the photo as a wallpaper.

:) They could have simply aired that classic "footage":+ of Walter Rohrl's feet (wearing Adidas) dancing on the pedals in the in-car cam at the '85 Portugal Rally.

I actually liked Nike's racing shoes(yeah ok I work there!), but then something happened to the line.

I heard rumblings that it might come back...guess this would be a good reason to do it now!

Hope their marketing and hype guys figure out what decade they're trying to re-hype.

This must mean they're waiting with big fat contracts for all the folks digging themselves into debt with their Evoburus and Sububishis,
that's great!
Advertising will be all our salvation!

The Nike wrestling shoe does the job also. Ask Dave White

Nice, not thrilling but nice.

But seriously, if anybody needs Puma Replicat Mids(great for co-driving) for $65+shipping, just drop me an email all sizes available.
In all honesty, you can't be "hip" with Adidae (JVL how did I do with proper spelling?).:p

Cheers

Great, but Audi Quattro's rallied in the 80's, not the 70's!

Morgan,
Check your email!

We have been sponsered by Adidas for months now. The Adidas line of retro clothing goes well with the retro race/rally image of the 60's and 70's. I sent Morgan some photos from a shoot we did for them a few weeks back. Maybe he'll post them here.

Regards,
Marty
