Here's a nutty question-

Where do I get my new PGT WRX logbooked? It's almost done & I was planning on trying to make Tall Pines, but I wonder if I can get a new SCCA logbook before then? I cant get a CARS logbook, cuz I dont have a fire system or exterior cutoff switch(plus I kinda live in the US).

Hmmm... I definately need a logbook before S*D in Jan.

This definately gives me that one last hurdle that prohibits me from even considering trying to make LSPR.

Ideas anyone?

Technically the SCCA is still handling rally until year end so whomever could have issued a logbook before should be able to do it now. I'm not sure who is avaialble near you but I'm sure someone else knows.

..at LSPR..

If you plan on doing that, it's best to touch bases with the scrutineer before the event and make sure that's OK. Sometime they don't like suprises. ;)

Oh, and don't forget to wash it first..:D

Neither of the above is a requirement for a CARS PGT (P4) car. They are 'strongly reccomended' but not required (NRR II C 4 b and NRR II C 8 a).

>(plus I kinda live in the US).

This is more of an issue.

As already mentioned, a licensed SCCA tech inspector can issue an SCCA logbook, at least until the end of the year.

Thanx all. I guess I will contact Macklenburg(he's really close by) & see if he can still issue one before Nov. Then I can just "turn it into" a RA one or whatever, when the time comes.

Adrian- I thought P4 had to have those items. I must've been mixing up the rulebook. Thanx for the clarification.
:)
