In talking with several pro teams, I understand that most teams work with a 'Motion Plan'. This plan includes every person on the team and accounts for each person's location and duties each minute/15min./half-hour/hour of the event.

I am undertaking a fairly large project at work, and an example or template of a tried and true example would help me out a lot.

If someone could post something here, email me something, or refer me/us to another location, all of us could benifit from your experience.

Thanks in advance,

Microsoft project works very well for laying out tasks by day/week/month/year.

Standard format includes Task, Duration, Start, Finish, Resource Name.

Software maps everything so you can see the entrie timeline start to finish.

Might be what you are looking for, neven thought to use it for Organizing a rally or rally team, but it would proably work very well. I am not sure you can break it down by hour, but it still might fit the bill.

Good Luck,
Mike

I really think MS Project will be better for any type of project other than a rally. I use MS Project everyday at work for managing software implementation projects, so if you need a hand there, shoot me an email.

But, here's a movement plan, since you asked for that:
