Mitsubishi Evo 8 Rally Car



Specification

Built in UK in 2009 by Darell Staniforth Motorsport to full FIA Spec. Complies with cars and RA
rules for open class.

Body:

Fully seam welded shell, FIA spec full weld in rollcage, door bars, cross diagonals, seatrails
etc. Underfloor mounted 80 LATL fuel cell in carbon. Protector box, Kevlar floor guards, rear
suspension protectors, ralliart diff guard, alloy sumpguard. Painted in Mitsubishi silver.

Engine:

Full open class unit with Evo 9 turbo on 34 mm restrictor, 3” stainless exhaust running on gems
management system; omega pistons, steel rods, balanced, GPA head & cams, HKS head gasket,
vernier pulleys, alloy radiator with 2x spal fans.

Transmission:

5 speed drenth dog box, MTX 2 plate clutch and flywheel, ralliart supertraction front and rear
diffs, gems diff controller, lightweight 2 piece propshaft.

Suspension:

Profelx jumbo suspension, 3 way, alloy top mounts, ralliart bushings, gravel progressive springs,
7”x15” wheels.

Brakes:

AP 4 pot calipers with 305 mm discs all around, AP cylinders and balance bar pedal box,
hydraulic upright handbrake with diff release.

Interior:

Recaro Hands wrap round seats, sabelt 6 pt. harness (all in date), lightweight custom harness
wiring, coralba door mounttrip, peltor intercom, heated front screen, lightweight battery,
carbon floor trays, flocked dash, gems dash display, carbon interior door panels, security film on
windows.

General:

Very clean car, finished in silver inside and out, maintained every event to highest standards.

Ready to rally. FIA fuelling system running on 109 fuel.
