- 56% are Mitsus (46 Mitsus, 8 Fords & Pugs, 6 Subes and the rest)
- EVO7 has got an active center diff. The lobely PRODRIVE Sube can pack the tent and go home...could not match before and will be totally out classed now on. Things to come in the US 2003?
- Young Jani Paasonen after testing a new EVO7step2: "I'll get one or two fastest times!" We'll see...
- Ex CRS/SCCA Ramon Ferreyros, currently FIA GrN 2nd, will try Finland second time (We did "Snow Rally" in Helsinki once). Good luck! Ramon started in a Volvo 142 and I was his teacher.

I "still" think the young McRae will do something someday once he gets a decent car under him. Look what he's been in the last few years...
EVO WRC... (the car so bad it scared Tommi away)
Hyundai WRC... (its best trait is the ability to light itself on fire)
Give the boy some time to get the step 2 evo sorted out and we'll see what he can do.

Hey that's a great theory. It's not particularly true as Mitsubushi isn't even in the top 6 after day 1 in Finland, but what the heck! Ya can't let reality get in the way of a good theory...

most of the GrpN mitsu's are EVO VI not VII, the VII's are
terrible on gravel, they have not quite figured out the
center diff yet, not to mention they are bigger and heavier
than the VI's many of the top Grp N teams that started the
year in VII's went back to EVO VI

Even the factory WRC team is considering switching platform to
something smaller, so the EVO VII or VIII might be the last we see
of a nice hight perfomace AWD car from Mitsu.

- You're right George - EVO7s are terrible....for the competition!
- 2nd, 3rd and 4th were EVO7s in Finland (maybe even the 5th, Proton perth too since Mr Signh is a factory driver...)
- The winner, Miettinen, could not afford one - yet
- EVO7s are killing the competition thanks to superb center diff
