There is already an alternative in ARSG. Unfortunately there has not been enough money in rallying to create a profitable business alternative to SCCA.
As long as SCCA has the monopoly, they don't have to provide "Customer Service", an attitude which has prevailed at the SCCA offices for many years. There are occasional great moments from the National office, but there seem to be more failures.
With the growth of rallying in the past few years, maybe the time for an alternative, customer oriented sanctioning body has arrived.
