Hey everyone, There is a rumor out that Mark Lovell will be replaced by Chad Dimarco, a former Subaru factory Champion.
Anyone knoes anything about this? ( HUMMMM )
It would be great to see Chad behind the wheel of a factory Subaru rally car again. One of the greatest rally drivers in North America.

Rally onnnnn

Uhhhhh ... I'll believe that when I see it. ;-)

Next time you see Chad ask him if he remembers us chucking a water baloon into the back of his 'Burban with one of those three-man baloon slings back in '86 or '87. His Crew Chief (Wango) bet me I couldn't hit their truck from that far up the road. Wound up chucking it right inside the open tailgate and turned a fine coating of dust into an instant mud bath!!

I don't know. This is the West coast Michelin distributor and his salesman (you really should get commission Matt).

Chad has been driving a bit more lately, but I'm sure a replacement of this magnitude would be accompanied by the appropriate mass press release. I don't see them doing something like this in the middle of the year. So put me in the same Mad Mike belief category.

maybe their is some truth to this, Chad was seen driving mad Kiwis Evo in a rally sprint, was WAY faster than everyone their, also am hearing maybe Brother Mark Higgins may be getting Lovels drive, Dave would have to be worried because when the Hyuindi hung together he spanked everyone:)

If I were running the Subaru operations, I would be
thinking about replacing Mr. Lovell, he is fabulous
to watch, but seems to have a difficult time winning.

Running driving trials is the accepted to find out who
might step into the car next.

I would certianly include Chad and Rhys in my trials,
assuming Chad would come out of retirement, and Rhys
did not have to many Mitsu conflicts.

But with Ramana on the team, they dont need a Yank.
Ramana has now proven himself beyond my expectations.

So you would expect they would hold it in Europe and
invite the unssual suspects from "over there".

But this is all speculation. No confimrations available
that such a thing is even being considered. The reason
Chad was running a Tombstone is he is being hired by
the venue owner to provide tips on how to drive fast.
Does that translate into Chad coming back?

Congratulations Rallyit.

You dangled a worm to the masses that lurk on this board to see what they would do, and they took the bait, at least enough to comment on it.

Rallyit clearly is just making stuff up to see what everyone will do. Not very professional or advisable if you want to be taken seriously. (and I think your love of michelin's and overdone comments on them already had you well down this road)
